Value drivers combined with stabilising factors

ProfitlichSchmidlin, a privately-held and owner-managed fund consultancy based in Cologne, was founded in 2013 with shareholders of GANÉ Aktiengesellschaft, Flossbach von Storch AG and BKP Vermögensverwaltung.

The fund boutique focuses on identifying undervaluations in long-term corporate investments as well as in equities and bonds in special situations. With its non-benchmark, bottom-up investment approach, the company offers a remarkable combination of market-independent investments (equity and bond special situations) and a high-conviction portfolio of quality stocks.
Stock selection is based on three criteria: competence, undervaluation and value drivers. The consultancy’s goal is to generate value growth while limiting fundamental risks.
