This attractive return is expected to be achieved through investments in assets with predictable cash flows, active asset management, dynamic asset allocation, and broad diversification. The portfolio will prospectively include both direct investments and target fund investments in existing institutional PATRIZIA funds, comprising assets in both equity and infrastructure debt. - Digital transformation: connectivity, Internet of Things, and smart cities
- Urban change: urbanization and urban mobility
- Energy transition: decarbonization and circular economy
- Living transition: demographic change and social infrastructure
Investments in the infrastructure sector amount to almost EUR 10 billion worldwide.Klaus Weber, Managing Director of PATRIZIA GrundInvest, comments: “With our first ELTIF, we are now able to make our extensive infrastructure expertise accessible to private and (semi-)professional investors.
Graham Matthews, Co-Head Fund Management & Head of Fund Management Infrastructure, at PATRIZIA, adds: “The infrastructure sector offers immense potential and additional diversification opportunities for long-term portfolios. At PATRIZIA, we specialize in the mid-cap segment, enabling private investors to benefit from our strong institutional track record and our first-class assets, in which the ELTIF will participate via target funds.
”The strategic expansion of the private investor business to include the infrastructure asset class is part of PATRIZIA's broader corporate strategy. Assets under management are set to grow to EUR 100 billion by 2030, with infrastructure playing a pivotal role.
